I am very blessed to have a 40th Anniversary 911 with only 30K miles. The power is good but I am curious to learn if there are any tuning mods that could be made to improve the HP and Torque? Certainly a SC or Turbo is out of the question.

Unless you supercharge it or put the car on a diet you will be hard pressed to notice any significant changes by doing the usual mods of intake/exhaust/chip.

As Whitey said, take it to the track and you'll see.

IMO, the mod money is probably best spent elsewhere.

+1 for spend some time at the track and if the claims of 20hp can be made from simple exhaust swap, dont you think Porsche would have done it already?
Less weight I believe, better sound... ok...
Even if I had another 20 HP I doubt I would be able to really feel the differance other than in my head. Track lap times on 20+ more HP would would be very tough to see any change IMO - now money spent keeping the tires on the ground and your butt in the seat.... that will show up !
back to my original Q : why do you think you need more HP/Torque

I agree. The package is well optimized from the factory.
I tuned one to 340RWHP but I had to pop it open and make it bigger to do it along with more head work, etc, etc. :-)
Its hard to beat right out of the box. Most of what you will do will result in LESS net output.

I drove a 40th back to back to a 2005 997. The 40th's motor was much better in my opinion. I liked how it revved and how the motor sounded. Much quicker revving as it felt like the flywheel may be lighter. Or it could be the motor internals as well. It just sold at the dealer I bought my 2002 996 for $46,000. That 40th had around 15-20k miles and nearly flawless.
