Default Painted my wheels, with poll.....

So I painted the wheels and spent a lot of time doing so. I like them, my wife doesn't soooooo.....poll time.

AND THE WHEELS ARE STICKY WHITE FROM TAPE GLUE, I'M NOT GOING TO WASH THEM FOR A WEEK TO MAKE SURE THE PAINT IS HARD.

I'll put more details in. It's been a long day so maybe today, maybe tomorrow....

Before:

And after:

Your work looks good from what the pictures can show - what's the paint color? A drop would do you good, as well as ditching the pumpkins. Painting the calipers wouldn't hurt either.

Yes, I'd love to put some PSS9's on. Maybe next year.

Oh, and graphite, I figure it beats chipped and dinged silver.

nice looking work, really nice.... how did you do it?

BTW - I think YOU are the one that needs to like it. For me it's just OK, but had i done the work and it looked that good I would be like "I love em!"

since you know how, you can always redo them in a year... give it time, see how they hold up and if they grow on your wife or if you change your mind....

Looks sunny at least - hell its like monsoon season in Seattle

They'd probably look a lot better if you tires were cleaner/blacker. It's a visual distraction...

I think they'd look better if the car was dropped.

I like!

And close to the right shade I was looking for to go with my Arctic Silver cab. The last time wheel color came up someone mentioned sticking with the stock colors, but aren't the only stock colors silver and black? I'm wondering if a different wheel color would punch up the AS a little. I think black is too much of a contrast with the AS, but a color a shade lighter for me - gunmetal maybe...

Anyway, one vote for the positive column...

I like it, too! And I'm not normally a fan of black wheels.

But the graphite complements the hint of violet in your car.

Drop it and it would be smokin' hot -- seriously!

Don't despair, Ed -- good job!

I really like dark wheels. I almost bought some . . . who knows, I still might.

Not a bumbershoot kinda day? Time to go enjoy the sun breaks... (the only two terms I've ever heard from your area...)

Enjoy!
