I like em. Would be much better if your car was a lighter color like silver ,white, yellow etc.

I am one of the jerk-offs that does not like the graphite wheels.

The color is not right for your car. The wheels are now almost invisible.

I think they look great. What was the process you used to pain them and is that graphite the same color that is on the Titanium Cayenne wheels?

I think it's hard to judge on your car in a photograph, I'm sure they look better in person but they seem to wash each other out in a picture. Maybe it's my play-skool design sense, but I feel like darker colors look better with brighter wheels, and lighter colors with darker wheels, at least in pictures.

Must have been a fun project though, great looking paintwork!

Thanks guys, I'm his wife and knew he was like his dad always trying to "do it yourselfer". Somethings you should just leave to the professionals!

BetterHalf,

Welcome to Rennlist. While your husband may not have good taste in wheel color (LOL) he has great taste in women.

Your car is a rather unique color, and will look terrific with the right wheel color combination. Unfortunately dark metallic grey or Graphite is not one of them, it's too close to the color of your car and either needs to offer more or less contrast to look good.

Your cars screams, "I'm an early '99". Loose the pumpkins, they look really bad with your color too.

The silver wheels looked really good. A polished rim wheel may look good with a gloss black center too as long as it was thin spoked without a lot of area.

You asked, lol
