I pulled into a hotel parking lot in Phoenix this week and there were six Panameras. No badges, Georgia distributor plates. These are some seriously ugly cars.

Two of the cars (turbos?) had huge brakes and three piece rotors. The others had whimpy slotted rotors.

I don't think they're ugly, they're just not head turners. Nothing impressive.

The Aston Martin 4 door sedan looks way better though, in comparison.

Uh, not my cup of tea. But, just like the Cayenne and the Cayman and the Boxster, I'm sure there will be a following of buyers (Doctors with a family, to name one group).
They could have extended the roofline and done a Volvo C30 rear treatment and called it a Shooting Break or something.
Makes me think they are perfect for Americans since, just like these models, our asses grow fatter with each generation.

This is actually the first new Porsche that I really don't like. I love the idea of a high speed 4 door but compared to the other sedans it really sorta sucks.
