I think we should provide some advertising slogans to help move these puppies (is that pups)?
Having had a look at the Panamera website, courtesy of one of the other threads, my first suggestion is:
The new Panamera - if you don't have high-speed internet, you probably don't want one anyway
Some others:
The new Panamera - just like a Porsche, only longer
Panamera - trading on our reputation one more time
something for the expanding family - an expanded Porsche
the all-new Porsche for the button deprived

I don't find the Panamera to be particularly attractive, but the same can be said about the Cayenne. We have a Cayenne, and we love it. It is a wonderful vehicle if you appreciate it for what it is.
If Porsche does well selling the Panamera, which I suspect they will, then that helps keep the company profitable, and allows them to invest in the sports car business. I think that good Panamera sales mean better Carreras for us. If you don't like the Panamera, then don't buy one!
That's my $.02 worth.

I wouldn't say "ugly". The only thing that looks out of place is the fake metal trim on the front fender (I assume it's plastic). And the rims are ugly. And the rear end is kind of ugly.
OK, they're a little ugly! Sad, if a kid sees a Cayanne, and a Panamera, without ever seeing a 911 or Boxster/Cayman, he might think Porsche is an American car company!

typical Porsche, it takes a gen or 2 to finally catch up to what the people see as appealing.... one day people are gonna go oohh and aahh to the Panamera.... did I say those brakes are nice! Must be a pig!

I do like those brakes! Actually I had dinner with Timo Bernhard (name dropping ) last summer and we asked him if he'd driven the Panamera. It was clear he wasn't allowed to talk about it but he was smiling ear to ear. I'm willing to bet it will be an incredible car to drive.

The only thing I don't like is the rear end in profile. Otherwise it's a handsome, but different, car.
And the Aston cheated--you take a DB9 and make it a bit longer in the cabin and you've got a 4 seater, the classic Porsche shape on the other hand doesn't lend itself well to a longer cabin.

Ok Jim, let me try again.
You know what they say about opinions, right? They're like ********, everybody has one!! Brakes do look good, can't wait to drive one!!
FYI. I am not calling you an "*******"; you have one, so do I, so does everyone on this forum, you have an opinion, so do I. In my opinion, (my *******, get it now Jim!) the car looks good from every view except the rear. The *** is ugly!! No bueno. But as Timo Bernhard eluded to, it will be an incredible car to drive.
