Yes, 2032 enegizer bunny, I just ran to walgreens $4.00 and man so this is what a good battery is like. I had done the antenna mod and it never seem to work that good but I suppose my battery was always low also.

Hey - update is that I have not had time to check on it with the dealer, but plan to hang out at an Indie tonight and perhaps they can see what is going on...

Eurowerks or at Dan's place? Did we ever meet? I used to attend those a couple years ago but moved away in mid 07. Tell those guys Scott says hello. You may know Krista W. She has a Seal Gray 996 similar to yours.

Also, that reverse polarity procedure mentioned above is correct. I read it for myself in the TSBs available at Renntech.

Make sure if you have memory seats they work with all keys before you leave. There are some special settings that have to be changed for the memory set to work.

So finally went to the dealer and it was the FOB, even though it lit up and new battery and all that. After a while thy just wear out I guess. It was $300 with the programming. I feel dirty.

Mine went thru the laundry and it ruined one of the micro buttons. I replaced the button and it works normally. I would suggest....if your fob isn't working, check to see if it's the button s before replacing it
