very exciting best of luck. Something this rare and unique will make for lots of fun and no doubt some frustration too. I'm hoping we can all track your progress and share in the experience. And of course the prerequisite dead rodent to boot. Perfect!

Looks like a good reason to buy a rotisserie, or at least a lift.
Ferrari Chat's a great site, lot's of knowledge there with the vintage car guys, or at least someone to share your pain.

Look forward to the updates Mark and Happy new Year!

I think Porsche(s) make better homes for mouse/mice than Maserati(s).

Steven, I hope your Alfa restoration is going well (or finished, better yet). The Alfa I sold went to the Netherlands...it was painful to see it go.

Billh, that would have been a pretty good investment.

Flat-6, thanks. Hopefully it will be more fun and less frustration.

Salayc, I would buy a lift in a heartbeat if my garage had higher ceilings. Jackstands are going to be a pain.

Chris, thanks.

Chao, happy new year to you also. I hope the rodents stay clear of both of us.

Hey Mark,

That looks like a great project. Is this your first Italian? I'd love to do an early 60's Alfa Guilia Spider some day....

BTW - I just finished my v-ram conversion project (I did a write-up on the 993 forum). It was fun, but like you I have a sickness and need to start another soon!

Hope your family is well.

I am looking into the mid rise lifts for my upcoming garage project.

Hi Joe, You car looks great...even better then when I last saw it. I will have to read about your v-ram conversion. I have owned several Alfas in the past. They are neat cars. The Maserati is going to be fun. I hope you and your family are well. Let me know if I can help you find a salvage project.

Chris, that lift would be great. I would love to get one eventually. I enjoy looking at the dream garages. Good luck on your garage project.

Mark - What an amazing project. That Maserati is in good hands - can't wait to see what you do to it. At least the rat ended his days in an incredible car.
