Kinda reminds me of Thunderbird.
How unique, great project on what appears to be a very original and complete car! Keep posting pics!!
Cool, twin plug ignition.

Whoa - great car. Can't wait to see the pics when it's done... but don't forget to share "in-progress" pics too!

I saw a show on TV called Chasing Classic Cars the other day the guy found one of this cars cleaned it up a little and sold it on Ebay to some one in Europe for a big profit. I think it even was the same color as yours. His car was in storage for many years also, they just changed the fluids and it started right up.

Very nice! I was expecting a lot of dents on the roof, hood and trunk from all the junk that was sitting on the car... can't see 'em. What a great project indeed!

Your bro looks lika a PIG. I cannot imagine what the inside of his house looks like. YUCK.
Very cool project. I too saw that episode of Chasing Classic Cars - in fact, that's exactly what I thought of when I saw the pics in the garage.
Keep the pics coming.
Did you guys read about the Bugatti they found in a garage last week? Some estimates are saying it is worth $4MM. WOW.

I knew I could count on you guys for a few words of encouragement...thanks. I spent a couple hours cleaning today. It's not nearly as bad as I thought yesterday. Here are a few more pictures...before and after of the interior. The dead rat was pretty gross. My brother's garage leaves a little to be desired. The car parked next to the Maserati in his garage was a 66 Alfa GTV. I sold it on Ebay a couple months ago to help finance the Maserati restoration.
I posted some pictures over on "Ferrarichat" in the Maserati subforum. I received some great advice that is making me consider preserving the car, rather than restoring it. My first order of business will be getting the transmission fixed and trying to get it driveable (brakes, suspension, etc.).
Thanks again for all the kind words. As long as there is interest, I'll keep you guys updated on the progress.

Hey Mark,
Great project! Those cars have exploded in value in the last 5 years also. I have seen one under restoration to completion and they are sweet. As for the dead rats as you know I pulled the ones out of my GTAm last winter...my wife still tells people about the smell in our garage. Good luck with it. I will find the old thread on my Alfa and update it today as I know you were interested.

Very cool. I almost bought one just after I graduated college in 1985. It was in excelent shape and the price was $5500. My Dad talked me out of buying it.....
