3136 lbs for my '99 C4 - driver's GT3 seat, console delete, half tank of gas, spare tire and tools, but no air compressor. Otherwise empty (i.e. no junk or stuff).
Factory data for 996 Turbo cab is 1660 kg / 3660 lbs
I have weight reduced mine somewhat.
Years ago I got them from the Porsche website tech specs when the 996 was being sold. My manual confirms the 3.6l 996 na weights but doesn't have TT wieghts.
The specs I recored are:
996 Turbo 3,394 lbs 3,494 lbs (tiptronic) 4.2 (304 kph/189 mph) 4.9 (298 kph/185 mph) (tiptronic)
996 Turbo Cab 3,549 lbs 3,649 lbs (tiptronic) 4.3 (304 kph/189 mph) 4.9 (298 kph/185 mph) (tiptronic)
What does your manual say the weight is for the TT and TT cab?
I will adjust my numbers if they are incorrect.
40th anniversary model (2004 C2, X51, sunroof, 6 speed manual, PSM, LSD, nav, Bose, CD changer) with these mods vs stock:
- Recaro Sport Topline seats (driver and passenger)
- Volk TE37 wheels (8.5x18 F, 11x18 R)
- Michelin PS cup tires (235/40-18 F, 295/30-18 R)
- No spare (my spare with tools weighs 30 lbs)
- No Bose rear subwoofer (or whatever that thing is in the center rear)
- PSS9s
- GT3 sways and drop links
- DAS half-cage
I will update this post later tonight with the printout I got from the scale at Roebling Road Raceway earlier this year. The fun part was that at a very portly 260lbs, my car was perfectly corner balanced with me in the driver's seat. I guess I don't really need to go on a diet after all. I am already at "race weight."
