Default Weight of my 2000 C2 Cab - 3,083 lbs

So I bought Dell's used GT3 stock suspension end of 2007 and had it finally installed last week. The car was set at GT3 stock settings with the exception of a predefined negative camber up front of -2.5 and in the rear of -2.4.

I did get the car also corner balanced and wanted to share with you the established weight:

It's a 2000 C2 Cab (almost no options) and I've reduced weight with following measures:
- no rear seats
- no spare/tool kit
- GHL exhaust
- AASCO LWFW
- Carrera II 5-spoke 18 inch wheels with 225/285 P Zeros

The established weight with 250lbs in the driver seat and a full tank of gas was 3,416lbs. Taking out the "driver" and reducing the tank to 1/4 (-83lbs), the car weights 3,083lbs.

Well done Harold. Guess you are ready for track season. My GT3 sways just came in today and I can't wait to get it all set up after old man winter leaves the NE. I decided to get my PSS9s and sways installed around March or April because of the pot holes and also do my alignment with summer wheels..

Doggonit, quit modding your car. I have a hard enough time keeping up with you as it is. Wonder if all your weight saving mods cancel out the weight difference in the left seat? Get a roll bar so you can get to VIR!

I guess.

svelte - being of delicate or slender build?

Still doesn't answer whether or not a coupe is lighter than a cab.

yes, a coupe is lighter than a cab.

Nice setup! That seems light for a cab.

imdrew,

My "svelte" comment was directed at HWK regarding the lightness of his Cab. Not your question.
