Default Awesome DE experience - TMS

The Driver's Edge here in Dallas put on an awesome DE event at Texas Motor Speedway. The event started at 6:00 and ran until midnight! It was super sweet to run your car on the high banks at full throttle - what a completely different experience!

Here is my video of the second hot session. Not my best laps, but it was still sa-weeet. I didn't record the first hot - as it was a feeler session. My third session was plagued with tire issues, and I missed most of it back in the pits trying to get pressures right. And my last (and best) session, my camera battery died! doh!

Man, I had a blast running on the oval (and infield). Super cool. A definite must-do if you DE.

Looks very nice... I'm hoping to get out there in October (for a day event).

I esp like how you trapped that Z in front of that 987 that was on your ****. LOL.

That's what happens when the Caymans run Toyos and the 911s run MPSC. They ride your a$$ until your tires get to temp. But they eventually end up in the same place - rearview mirror, then out of frame. muhahahaha

About 5 years ago I had my 928 up to 135 or so in turns 3 and 4 and was cooking through 1 and 2 until the turn into the infield. Street tires and a big heavy pig almost put me into the concrete wall. It was fun up until that point!

I have been on it at night also in a Panoz race car...the lights do take some getting use to. Good video!
