HEY BOYS and GIRLS!

Scheduled departure from the coffee house is 8am.

Any back room deals, first encounters, etc. will need to occur before hand. So I was expecting to get there at 7am and wait for the folks to show.

Rock on. I'm washing the car tomorrow!

One other tid-bit. Scott Craven (the one who photographs the bikes on Palomar, Kneedownphotos.com) is going to try to get out there early to get photos of us. I like the ones he's done before and will most likely order a couple from him after the run.....

Once Javier vouches for you you'll get the map. Or you'll need to fill out the questionnaire, have it notarized, then I'll give you a list for shops that give the tech inspections.

Or we'll wait for Javier. Or he can forward the map to you.

I've lost count on how many people might be showing. We've lost three this week but four to five have requested the map from the other forums.

Also, we might be changing the winery. My wife talked to Ponte and they were unsure that they could accommodate the amount of cars coming. We might be going to South Coast, which is next door. They have a huge parking area. I never expected a turn out like this so we've possibly out grown Ponte. Either one they are both great places. I just liked Ponte's menu better. Who knows it's been a couple of months since I ate at South Coast.

I vouch for, Savie... I will send her the map. Can't wait to see my old car with the annoyingly loud Supercups!

The old map says 8:30 departure, make sure you remind her that it's going to be 8am. Get there early if you wanna chat.

So can Starbucks accommodate the number of cars?

And can they have extra Baristas on hand for the influx of Lattes?

What's the channel set-up for radios going to be?

Nothing makes a drive like hearing 'COW IN THE ROAD' over the walkie talkies!

I'll have to look at the Starbucks parking lot again. I think there was 80+ spots.

As for the cows. I did watch a doe and fawn jump out in front of a motorcycle last week! And the radios does everyone use motorolas? I've got two somewhere.

So here's Ponte's parking lot - looks like 100+ spaces available - if we beat everyone else there!

Yeah but the wife called and they were concerned that they could handle the crowd plus the regular sunday people. Either or. But I'm going to talk to Ponte again today and see what they can do. Their lot is normally full. But if we get there at 11am or so we can take up all those spots. What winery would not want to have a bunch of Porsches outside? You'd have to be a moron not to want them there.

Better than some hoopty car group.
