Yep, did a live drive. No dropout on Charle's route, and audio was much better than before. Beach Boys makes excellent soundtrack.
Unfortunately, "On Demand" seems to be down at:
http://livestream.com/splintercellracing
So you can't view it at this time, but should be up soon. Learned some lessons:
1. Make sure to turn off the "Live From Wake Zone Parking Lot" screen graphic before leaving, as its impossible to do while driving.
2. Stop and restart the broadcast as we are leaving, otherwise we get an hour of boring parking lot shots all as one long intro to the drive when played back "On Demand". Its a pain to edit the recorded video, as it is sent directly to the site in FLV format, and needs to be downloaded and converted before I can edit it to cut out boring parts. Still working on that.

Derick, I have an 87 911 cab that I drive on the street and do DEs with. I use Millersport in Hillsborough, Chuck Miller is the owner and head guy. Just had the top end done, so far so good. Took it directly from his shop to VIR for 4 days of unadulterated, fat assed fun. Put about 400 track miles on the engine, all is good so far. Your other choice is European in Cary. Another excellent choice is 3G Motorsports in Greensboro. Full track car, 3G would be a good choice.
Join us Saturday morning at the Wake Zone for coffee. WZ on Old Jenks Rd. in Apex, just pull it up on Google Maps. We start gathering around 7:30 am, typically 6 to 15 cars and guys show up. Everything from 911s, 986s, 996s, Caymans and a 928.

There was an addendum gathering on Sunday to supplement the crappy weather on Saturday. Myself, Dell, and Ken R. were present.
I think we saw Bob K. drive by, but I don’t think he knew we were there; my C4S was the only Porsche in the parking lot.
We’re kicking around the idea of doing another New Years Day run. Stay tuned.
