A thread dedication to MK1 aeros

Hello all.
These are not the best pictures but I just got the car back from having my MK1 Aero kit installed on my 2001 C2 and I love it. I want to thank all the people that helped me with the OEM parts and instructions on how to install them. Also, I would like to thank Ben for his advice and contact info on getting the rear strakes for it. I think they look great.
The wheels are still my winter wheels since I have not changed them yet so don’t be too tough on me.
Better pictures too come soon.
Paul

Looks great Paul, very unique. I would put a chin spoiler on the front bumper to complete the look... plus its under $100, good job. I still can believe thats DD's rear spoiler. Parts get around in the P-world.

Paul, not a bad thread to revive, several cars here set the standard for what's possible on the 996.
I prefer the look of the taco wing.
Gotta say these wheels looked great on Chad's former car too:

Thanks for all the nice comments. Agree, the MK1 aerokit looks so much better than the MK2, it really deserves to be called aerokit while the MK2 is just too square.
Here are a few more pics of my car from last summer at the Nurburgring.
