Nice.
Almost has a Targa look going from the rear.

I like both, but in this case this very nicely modified M3. Just imagine this thing rompin' down the hwy. It's gotta look so insane. Sweet.

I will own one, but I just cannot bring myself to buying anything new...so give me 12-18 months and I'll take one in white please.

Love the GT-R. Screw that M3. After owning two, the new one is simply a disappointment, IMO.

They lost touch what the M3 really is. Now...word is the CSL could be something amazing.

Looks OK since it is not stock.

One area that bugs me is the fact that the front wheel well area is much larger and higher than the rear wheel well, and so the lines of the car looks weird IMHO...or is it just me that see's this? (The 3rd picture down really shows the difference, it looks like a 20" on the front nicely tucked, and a 17" on the back nicely tucked, but with a drop in the wheel well lip very noticeable. I know my car in the sig pic looks simialr to what I am saying, but the BMW is much more obvious)

Nice, but the front would be gone on my first trip to the "OK" store.

What a GORGEOUS automobile. Have considered trading mine for a brand-new one. Just CAN'T do the brand-new car thing.

Even if I wanted another M3 after the E46 I had before, I wouldn't get the new one - too porky at 3,700 pounds (!&!^@!$$@#^@*@!).

It's really unfortunate what the M division are doing - I've been an M owner for almost 6 years in the past but looking at the way they are now, there's no real "Motorsport" left in them. Granted this white one looks sweet with the kit and the additional mods but stock they look like crap.

Bleh, the whole people quoting weight thing. This sucker is outright faster than the E46 M3 which I loved. Period. The whole motorsport thing, too. Do you really want a motorsport car and wtf do mean exactly by motorsport? C'mon. The new V8 is a technological tour-de-force and the chassis can handle it+. What exactly is Porsche doing with their Carrera or GT1 engines that's so innovative since it came out watercooled style in 1999? BMW M is stronger than ever.

I can't do new either. Just silly if not a new Ferrari.

This new M3 absolutely kills the outgoing M3 and the M3 was never intended to be a race car anyways. If one wants that, get yourself the old dated looking E30 version and have yourself a nice sitdown listening to an Ovaltine radio program for your main entertainment for the evening.

I wasn't sold on the looks of it because I didn't see one that was properly modded. Now that I've finally seen one like above, I can now see how much I love the update. I probably wouldn't go as aggressive as this setup, but with a nice aerokit (looking forward to the CSL example), nice wheels, and a drop, it's so sweet.

With all that said, I'd still go for a 997 Carrera S w/ similar aero/wheel treatment over this car because it is a 911 and it does drive "better" in many ways.

In the US car enthusiasts like to have light sports cars to go to the track and on a road course weight is an important factor. In other countries like Germany (or Italy) where you don't have speed limits or less enforced speed limits, people use sport cars (or sporty sedans) for fun on the Autobahn/Autostrada; there weight is not a completely bad thing; as long as you have enough power to move the car. The E92 M3 seems to be a great Autobahn cruiser.
