I don't blame anyone for wanting to research this issue. It is a valid issue and questions regarding the issue are perfectly acceptable.

It just has been beat so to death, that "usually" the only ones who bring it up like that are those who want to have an interesting fight on a boring Tuesday.

I had an RMS leak, and it was fixed under warranty. It never leaked again after that. No big deal.

It also has little to nothing to do w/the topic - Targas.

He personally attacked my 996. haha It was a joke because it was soooooo off topic and left field, I felt it needed elimination.

You will find that this is quite a (I like to think) professional forum. RL'ers were just trying to keep the board free of troll material which it almost came off as. Welcome aboard.

Well, it came across as especially troll-ish because it was posted in a thread about another topic entirely.

Yeah, me too, except my "no big deal" just took a new engine to rectify.

I like the targa...always wondering if it is not getting to hot inside, because of the huge sunroof...my X5 has a huge sunroof and I have to keep it covered to not get a headache during the summer.

To the original poster Marc: Is the Targa you were considering located in FL, by any chance?

In DC, I never had any problems. For the sake of full disclosure, however, I parked it in the garage at home and in a garage at work, so it is not as if it ever had extended periods of time in the elements, but I never felt uncomfortably warm in the car.
