Default Ok - I can't contain myself anymore - I'M BAAAAACK!!!

Greetings all...

It's been a little over 2 years since I was in my old silver '99 996. For those who do not remember, I had a wee bit of a headroom problem with my helmet. Now, I knew non-sunroof 996's were out there, but I have never seen any (other than GT3's). Until now.

I will be purchasing Screameleon's white Carrera this Saturday and driving her home. I cannot tell you how freakin excited I am. This car is TRULY my dream car. I have waited a LONG time to find the right car. And, in 6 years of looking this is only 1 of 2 cars that I personally have ever seen for sale with no sunroof.

I am sooooo grateful to have the opportunity to be back in a proper Porsche.

Congrats,
Glad to see you back in a 996! IMO that's one of the more beautiful cars on the entire board...

Thanks Andy. If I am not mistaken, you almost sold your car. Trust me...I was seriously oogling.

Yup...after my dad passed both the M3 and 996 were on the market...Thankfully I was able to work through all of that and keep both cars. I'm guessing that the new ride will get pleanty of track time, maybe we'll see you at VIR next year!

Congratulations.

What a fantastic car. It was ironic that I just got my 99 Aero a few days before this went on sale, otherwise I would have made an offer for it. Absolutely stunning car!

Enjoy it in good health,

Pete

Maybe...not in the immediate future, but some. I need to work a couple things through first. (the mod list is building).

I'm not a fan of the Taco wing, but in white, with the black wheels, it makes the car look more like a beautiful sculpture! Congrats!
