Default "Snaplock" pedals? Anyone have them?

They are a little pricey, but look pretty good. Anyone bought these and care to chime in?

I bought on the group buy alum. pedals, but I have not yet mounted them. Considering other options before I start drilling... Thx.

They look very nice! I actually like the overall shapes of these snaplock pedals more than the ones in the group buy, although the 'Porsche' logo would be a nice-to-have. A bit steep at $300, and I'd like to know and see the quality of the snaplock fit before considering them.

What does "snaplock" mean is that just the brand, or do they snap on as opposed to drilled and bolted. I would be afraid of them coming off. Everything that snaps....unsnaps.

Good question, do they snap on? I don't see any mounting hardware in the photo.

Can we have the "snap" explained in more detail from the vendor? I would be interested if it looks like a product.

If they "snap off" could they block the motion of the brake pedal or throttle?

I'd check out if they pass a tech inspection for an Autocross event, for example, just for safety sake. Just a thought.

Try this:

GMP Performance 996 Pedals

Carcrafter introduces a pedal set worthy of a Porsche Boxster and 996 that installs in seconds with no drilling or screwing! Simply SNAP THEM ON! They fit snuggly over your existing pedals with the revolutionary patent-pending CrafterLock system. The pedals are crafted out of T6061 billet stock aluminum, brushed, and outfitted with replaceable rubber plugs for additional traction. The set includes the accelerator, brake and clutch pedals as well as the dead pedal (foot rest). The upscale look and feel of these pedals is completely different than anything available in the market today – all at a reasonable price point.

I have a set of those, the quality is pretty good and as many has said before these will just snap-on, no need for drilling or screwing, that is the main reason I bought them, did not want to drill or mess the OEM pedals with holes. That way I can take them out later if I sell the car. The snap-on mechanism is pretty strong and tight, and so far I have no problem with them as they don't snap-off the pedals. For those you do heel-toe shifting or have large feet Oops , these may not be a good idea as your foot could accidentally pull these off the pedals (snap-off) when quickly moving your foot around down there. I shift normally and so far never had any issue. I also like the little rubber inserts for better grip. They kinda expensive but you pay for the convenience, I guess ... Cheers.

Ohhh worried about the part where these could 'snap-off'.

Are the rubber ends rounded also?
