Actually it's the 986 Boxster that is the best Porsche of all-time, or at least the best looking Porsche of all-time. That's how Porsche convinced suckers to fork over an additional 20 to 30 large for the 986 copy called a 996.

I'm impressed....not one really nasty remark. Maybe there really is a place for all of us in Porsche heaven

Sigh, somehow I always feel disrespected and misunderstood by 996 owners as if I was one of the Geiko cavemen.

Should read that the Ferrari owners crashed their Enzos because they keep admiring the 993 from their rear view mirror they have to keep their eyes on the road ahead to prevent future mishaps

996 owners not providing the respect you so richly deserve for owning a 993?

996 owners are the most stupid, uneducated Porsche owners in history (they don't know what a 959 is, much less a 956), so their insubordinate lack of respect shouldn't bother you. Obviously, they're just ignorant.

I don't think they are ignorant, they are just jealous.

Some place rings and masks around the headlights to make them look more like the true Porsche that the 993 is.

Heck, I've seen some that go to the extreme of placing "93" badges on their doors as to confuse everyone, including themselves, into believing they are driving a 993 and not a 996.

I never get tired of those videos. I think this parts sums it all up:

"(The 993) It wasn't something created to be something to everyone, but everything to someone"

That's just a meager (and somewhat abbreviated) display of my worship of the 993 and my respect for and admiration of each and every 993 owner!

993 owners give us all something to aspire to!

I know each and every one of us hope to some day be fortunate enough to own the 993, Mother Of All Porsches so that we too can be admired by owners of lesser Porsches!

And as we owners of lesser Porsches now realize, (due to 993 owner's efforts to educate us), this sentiment could only possibly be applied to the Supreme Porsche 993!

No owner of any other Porsche should ever sense such satisfaction from their inferior 911s!

That was below the belt.

It is funny, my AUTOMATIC 996 will beat a 6spd 993 in any motorsport. Imagine once I get a 6spd 996 what will happen, haha
