RoW M030 just installed on C2 Cab
I just installed RoW M030 suspension kit on my 03 C2 Cab over the weekend. Did the job alone in about 9 hours in my garage without a lift. This was my first time doing suspension mods - probably could trim at least a couple of hours if I have to do it again.
No problems with installation thanks to the instructions on Renntech.org. I also considered X74 and PSS9 but both of these were double $ of RoW M030. Plus, I didn't want ride to be too harsh and I don't want to mess around with corner balancing and other adjustments so R0W M030 seemed like the right choice for me.
Driving impressions: Ride is slightly rougher on bumpy roads but not much. Car is lowered slightly - I forget exact measurements but I'd say about an inch in front, half-inch in rear. Bigger sways make huge difference in handling! The car used to feel soft in corners and understeer was apparent. Now, car is much flatter and front tires bite. I can't wait to try it on the track.
I'm planning to drive it for a week to let things settle and also need new rear tires before I get an alignment done. Even without fresh allignment, difference is apparent.
For anyone looking to tighten up the handling, especially on a cab, I highly recommend this mod.
I'll post pics after I finish a badly needed wash.

You're right...as I recall, bumpstops don't come with the unit. Thanks for the reminder.
UPDATE: On looking at my order specifications, it seems like bumpstops do come with it. Are you referring to something I overlooked?

Now I'm concerned. What is the function of the compensation plates which I did not install? What are the implications of not having them? I didn't see anything about compensation plates on Renntech, at least not associated with M030. I saw discussion of shims of some sort associated with X74.
