FWIW, the 3mm and 6.5mm plates are for the front axle.
The rear plates are either .5mm or 4mm, according to the PET Catalog.

and does that mean you will get muted noises from the front when going over bumps...? kind of like dull plastic pieces hitting eachother ever so lightly?

I don't have any noises from the suspension of any kind.
However, I do have a cat going bad which is making some crappy noise.
Time for a new thread......

Yes, I re-installed from existing struts. As of now, everything seems to be working fine and I sure as heck don't want to take it all apart again.

I think the compensating plates question came about when we were discussing the various amounts of lowering reported here for the ROW kits.
Adrian (Streather) was very interested in this, and during the conversation, the differing compensating plates were mentioned.

x74 comes fully assembled, no need to ad plates. i believe they are uses on the M030 kit for adjusting variation out of ride height. if you measure your ride height at the corners and are happy with the side to side heights being even, don't worry about it.
enjoy! Porsche does a good job with their sport suspensions. i love my x74.
