I love those wheels Mike. Had them on an Audi S4 before my 911. I think they would look awesome on the Porsche, I just wanted something different this time and went with OZ'z. For the price they are some of the best looking fully forged light wheels out there.

Dell & CT03911,

Yes those ones. Thanks. I heard that they're the closest you could get to the full blown light weight magnesium race wheels. I just want to see how they look like on the 996

Mike,

Check out CCW wheels. Their C14 wheels look like the RE's, are lighter, and cost less too. I will be purchasing a set after winter.

Cool

Thanks guys! I just realized too that I have an awesome picture of them right in my framed collection in the garage, but its an M3. I'm in Canada right now, but when I get back home in a week, I'll scan and post it here.

I want to get a new set, but my top PRIs are light weight, ease of cleaning(i.e 5 spoke style) and keeping the track look(not blingy!!) But the track look is hard to find to have ease of cleaning at the same time the LM, REs gives the track look but very hard to clean what a dilema I'm in...eigh The C22 (competetion series) of HRE is very close! Only have six spokes, light and have the track look(I think) specially if I have the centers done in black.

Picture below is not the best one Ive seen on the M3s. I have a picture of a red M3 that's simply awesome. I'll scan it next week and post it here.

You're right Dell, I thought he had the RE but its the gunpowder GT' RS ones.

Mike,
I was going to go with the RE's in the beginning with the 996 due to the lightweight factor but I couldn't live without a nice lip on my wheels.

Yes, me too... I like the shinny lips. the Kinesis K-18s are my choice maybe if I go that route so which ones did you get???

Go to tirerack.com and put a set on a 996, not so great pic. Works everytime just don't think you can change the color of the car either.

I ended up with the Kinesis K28's, one of my favorite wheels for the streets. If I could do it again, I would go with the F110's for the streets.

I've seen polished K18's on a 964 RSA and the look is stunning.
