The BBS RE's are great looking and lightweight. I bought mine from TireRack.
The inner lip of the left front wheel rubbed the helper spring perch of my PSS9's. I was running almost 2 degrees of negative camber at the time. This was cured by taking off the helper springs. They were fully compressed with the car on the ground so I saw no use for them on the road. The main springs were secured so that they would stay in place when the car was put on a lift.
The BBS RE's are a gorgeous wheel. They are very easy to clean. The only negative thing I have to say is that they look small on the 996 versus the Carrera 5 spoke wheels.
I did not use spacers to fill out the wheel wells.
