Help! My rollbars popped
When I came off a rise in the road a little hot, and got a bit of air, my rollbars popped up and scared the crap out of me.
Anyone know how to reset them?

It takes a trip to the dealership.

Guys, quit scaring him! You do NOT need to take it to the dealer nor is it an hour of labor. Takes less than 5 minutes to remedy and is outlined in the manual.

Share with us what the process is,--my manual says take it to the service center.

Man, you guys are brutal...Just reminds me of why I became a member of this great forum. LVDell is probably correct. I didn't take the time to RTFM.
However, if it's not in there I'll be back.

Alright, I'll save you the trouble: You take the car, disconnect the battery, turn it over gently, and using the weight of the car, let it slowly compress the rollbars until you hear a click. Reconnect the battery, start the ignition, and you are good to go.

Don't forget to turn it back upright before you reconnect the battery, otherwise the bars will just pop up again

For those who haven't experience this its a bit of shocker - Like a .45 went off in the back seat just as you make contact with the ground again. Yikes!
