Default Car feels sluggish lately

Is it my imagination or do some of you ever experience this?

Sometimes when my car has been driven for a while and the temperature is between the 180 mark and the next mark up (220?). Seems a little sluggish then.

Temp, air pressure in tire, dirty MAF, bad gas, foul plugs, dirty injectors can all result this.

I avoid buying gas after rain and check my tire pressure every month. Dropping in a bottle of techron every 6-12 months also.

I too was thinking dirty MAF. I know with audi's it'd throw a code immediately and then eventually CEL, same with p-cars?

Usually after a big dinner, or from bad gas.

try driving a suburban on the weekdays - that always takes the sluggishness out of my porsche the downside though is that it makes me feel like the suburban becomes a schoolbus after a session driving the p-car

dress like some punk about to key your car- wear tennis shoes, maybe a wife beater tee, and jean shorts. pretend you just stole the car from some rich bastard. now drive away with it!

I think we have to be more serious!

If you drive a tip, like I do...I felt it was sluggish too...weather couldn't be the issue I live in SoCal.....I put a fabspeed cold air intake on the car...and now I feel a little more push.

I saw a evo cold air intake on Ebay for 250 or so....Wish I would have seen this one sooner!! Evo gives you more power.....

I also use fuel cleaners.

Hmm hook up an OBDII scanner if you can and see if there any "stored" codes even if you don't have a CEL. What happens is sometimes if there's an error of some kind the ECU diverts back down to a "safe" type mode. Basically a less aggressive map and it runs pig rich.. That could be it Things like aged 02 sensors and so forth... Or disconnect the battery and drive it like a maniac for a while and see what happens

err, the car wont run after you disconnect the battery!

he means disconnect it for 15 mins or so to "clear and reset" everything, then hook it up again and drive!
