Default Pricecheck: 2002 C4 Cabrio

Anybody recently sold/bought a 2002 C4 Cabrio? I am holding one pending PPI

32K miles
Seal Grey Paint
Blue Leather
Metropol Blue Softop
Hardtop
Technic Pkg
Heated Power Seats w/ Memory
18" Wheels (tires like new)
1 owner (leased)
Clean service history
Clean Carfax
No major bodywork (that I can tell)
No warranty

Contracted price $52K (non-Porsche dealer). Is this high/low or just right? TIA

Price sounds good...but Seal Gray and Blue leather? I'm making a face now just thinking about it.
Post a pic, maybe I'm missing something and it's a great combo.

Color combo is weird. I hate blue interior and not sure how blue top holds with gray. If you like it, get a PPI from a good dealer or reputable mechanic. Don't go to any joe Porsche dealer as most may not be very thorough.

I recently 12/2005 took posession of a 2002 C4 Cab(Artic silver,black leather), similar features+
flared rocker panels
through dealerw/PPI(which has already been used), I would highly recommend a car with PPI!
28k miles
$59K

My bad, car I purchased is a CPO, I highly recommend having A CPO warrantty! I have already had issues that were resolved through the CPO warrantty, despite the car having a PPI(by a personal friend/mechanic)and a Prsche CPO inspection. I had a coolant leak occurr within the first 2 weeks of ownership(one of those things that can just "happen", and slight oil leak(not RMS; oil leak was identified by PPI, should have been taken car of previous to pick up, but timing. Utlimately, the dealership did the right thing, cost to me $ZERO)
If possible find a CPO car.

That sounds like a great price.

In August 05 I purchased a 02 996 C4 Midnight Metallic Blue cab with 22,000 mi. It was loaded (original sticker of $116,000) and I paid $64,000 with a CPO.

Good deal, I bought a 2002 C-2 Cab on Thursday with 27,000 for $49K. I love the seal gray and like the blue...it is good to be different.

The price sounds good, but I would also question the blue seats. Someday you may want to sell the car and with that combination you may have a difficult time - unless it is something that you are absolutely sold on, then go for it.

jsa, did you replace one of the cars in your avatar pic with the '02 Cab?

$49k is a fantastic price. Congrats.

CLL ACAB...

Your car looks great perched on that view spot. Just where in Simi Valley is that bay?

It looks like its taken in Santa Barbara up on the mesa?

Good price. Just make sure you get a PPI done on it before preferably from an independent place, not where you're buying it.

I think you're right. It does look North of Santa Barbara looking south. Right shape of the beach and you can kind of see the red roofs of the hotel there. Used to be Red Lion last I checked.

In any case, it's a beautiful car overlooking one of the finest coasts in Calif. I just might have to take a cruise up there and see if I can get a picture of my car at the same place!!

My Cab's telling me it needs to stretch it's legs...
