Arctic/Silver w/Red Interior
Anyone have any pics of a 996 with Arctic Solver w/red interior. I am considering a purchase with this color combo-- it is a '99 C2.
Relatedly, anyone have an opinion on whether "boxster"red interior would match (or clash) with painted red crake calipers. My sense is that boxster red is more "lipstick" color and is a little off from the bright red calipers.
Lastly, in '99 there was an option called "autobahn nose and side mirrors". Anyone know what that is and how it differs from the standard set up?
Thanks

Silver and Red is the way to go! I'm an interior neat freak and that would never work with a Black or Metropol Blue Interior and I don't even use my car as a daily driver. Its usually the first thing people compliment me about my car. One friend who has a Silver/Gray 500 SL asked me to write down everythign I use to "keep it sooo nice and clean" (mostly 1Z and Klasse VLRP). To be honest I really don't clean it so much. Like a Silver exterior, a red interior covers up much nicer than a dark color. (just flip so carpets over during winter!
p.s. The Cocoa Brown is nice too.

1999Porsche911-- The one I am looking at (in pictures only so far) has a red wheel and the leather stick shift bag is also red. I wonder why there is a difference?

I seriously considered one of these but couldn't do it in the end.. I have a sneaky suspicion that the carpets fade to PINK. Don't think I could live with that.
I think this is called "Cinnamon" btw.

LOL, Believe me the red carpets are for nice occasions! I keep a black set for winter or just flip the red ones over when its raining. Woolite and the Meguiar's carpet brush work great, and they dry in 10 minutes of sunlight.
BTW, there's a great looking upgraded Boxster Red Shift **** with the aluminum horshoe and matching aluminum/Boxster red e-brake that aren't in any of these picks. I saw it with an arctic silver rear center console. Not a bad way to spend $1200!
Here's the upgraded shift **** and e-brake with upgraded carbon/red steering wheel and carbon rear center console. .

is your shiftknob/E-brake CF?
I think yours is the firs I saw in combination Red leather/Carbon. Usually its all red or Black leather/Carbon.
BTW all, I just saw some nice 4 pedal sets on Ebay in ALuminum with drilled holes or nubs for under $150 from a new seller.

Anyone experience red interior (carpets) fading to pink as Keith suggests.
I think the photos wash out the color a little bit.
