Post 996 Mileage Poll

How many miles do you have on your car?

1999 models

2000 models

2001 models

etc...

Additionally at what miles have you replaced your clutch, brakes, tires, etc..

Thanks in advance...

6,760 or so Took delivery in June 2001 in Minneapolis and drove her to Seattle. About time for the first oil change. I'm curious about tires and the clutch too.

22K miles on my 99 C2. Replaced all tires at 20K. No other service issues except replacement of Mass Air Flow Sensor a month ago and tightening up a few interior rattles.

'99 c2 coupe with 25k miles. Tires changed at 15k as well as 15k mile service and oil change every 5k miles and brake pads changed at 20k mark(done a few DE events). Other then the TSB stuff that was taken care of early on it's been running great. Regards. Mike

I have a '99 C2 Cab and I just hit 10,000 on my way home from work. I think I'll be needing tires in about 5,000 more miles.

1999 C2 with 48,500 miles. Rear tires at 15K, complete set at 30K with Pirelli P-Zero's. Have 18.5K on Michelin Pilot Sports with plenty of tread on all fours. Clutch went at 38K. Need new brakes now. Cam covers leaked at 3K, main rear seal at 6K, two coolant reservoirs and sundry other warranty items, all professionally handled by Porsche. Coolant reservoir is the one that reallyl p#$@ses me off as second one was supposed to be the redesigned one. Don't know mileage when first one failed, but second one was at about 48K. Unfortunately, I know my service writer WAY to well. Despite problems, car is wonderful and I love driving it, just won't buy another one!

2000 C2 P996
I have 21,000km and the car has been to 22 lapping days. No problems, normal maintenance. I now trailer the car to events further than 500km.
