Where is the noise from exactly?
The clutch pumps are under the dash inside and the cabin..

Let someone squeeze the clutch pedal and follow the noise yourself from outside. If the noise is coming from underneath transmission then it's the clutch spring doing the noise. No worry, i think you're just getting used to the car so much that these noises are getting to you.

Wait for the clutch to run out completely, knowing your driving and by the time i get my driving liscense in Dubai next month, am sure it will fry very soon.

It's better, the clutch pump is a simple thing.. There are two pumps, one just under the clutch pedal and there is another one inside the transmission.

When I changed my clutch, I had the same problem of noise and also lose pedal travel before the clutch really engages.. Some bleeding solved the problem 100%.

Try bleeding.

The clutch spring rides in a plastic sleeve that is attached to the top of the clutch pedal, visible under the dash. The plastic sleeve has grease in it and over time goes dry. Push the pedal in with one hand to expose the spring then coat the spring with white grease. It fixed mine.

fadz, let me elaborate for you..

Go under your driver seat, get a light or smthg (not a candle or a gaz light coz i know u'd do it..)

SO press the clutch and you will see that the pedal will expose a spring which is the return spring of the pump *so that the pedal goes back up* so grease this spring.

While you're at it, check if you can also expose the pump lever (it's like a small black tube) and also grease it.

The best is to buy from ACE some grease spray (not silicon) and spray while you pump the clutch..

Make sure to protect the cabin and happy pumpin'!

I had the same problem. It sounded like an old shoe everytime I put the clutch in.

It happened around the time of my annual serive and the dealer replaced the clutch cylinder under waranty.

They send a report to Germany for action (opening the gear box)they gave me back the car till they get the reply

The dealer told me as well that they faced this problem in the 2000 models but Porsche fixed it since then.

Maybe they used some 2000 model parts in my car, who knows
