is there any benefit or better handling installing the EVO CF front strut brace? I dont track the car but drive it really hard. Have the ROWM030 suspension just installed. thanks Ted

None at all. The newer 911's, 2002 and up, already have stiffened fronts and rears with built-in strut braces.

Save your money. In any event, are you "experiencing" any handling problems now that would make you think it is necessary?

^baaahahhahhaah, that was a great.

trozen, the single biggest handling upgrade is a chance in suspension, the RoW 030 you have is a very good option, a combination of style thru lowering and increased handling benifits because of the factory matched components. Should you feel the need to further fiddle, coilovers become an option.

Besides messing with the spring/strut combos, swaybars make a noticable difference as well. I was at a track with a rennlister who had GT3 sways and PSS9's and his car was extremly flat thru the corners (other people that day even picked up on it and gave him kudos).

What kind of driving do you do with the car? cruising, agressive street, track days and DE's, full out racing? some combination of the above?

i just had the rowm030 installed before the car went into storage so i have not been able to drive it at all...i was going to put the pss9 on but felt the porsche suspension was more suitable...the roads here is mtl are terrible.....and with the recomendations of the forum opted for the porsche suspension...hope i made the right decision....i do not track at all and have no intentions....but i drive really really hard all the time....feedback on the row m030? it has the better sways and all....

i can't comment on ROW030 directly, but i had the US M030. It was good...but far from upto the task for the kind of driving i do..plus i hated the SUV-esque ride height.

trozen, the roads in mtl arn't that bad, its just you're traffic light system drives me insane, as do the pedestrians. ****ing students everywhere half drunk crossing the street without so much as looking. I don't around the city anymore it pisses meoff so much.

Next time i'm in mtl we should get the local rennlisters 2ghether and go grab a pint.

our cars already have a strut brace. look inside and you will see a big black metal bar bolted to either side of the car.

if you don't track it then you don't "NEED" it. you sould change out everything that's made of rubber (spring perch, bearings, bushings) into metal or at least urethane before you "NEED" a strut brace. you WILL feel those changes, guaranteed

well the strut braces don't really harm handling, and don't add much weight either, so even if there is a small benifit to be had, it might be worth it for them to put it on.
