hehe, it's not my auction.
But I've never heard of a Teal Porsche, and I'm not so keen on the wood package.

Forgive me - I havn't been following developments with the C4S, especially in the States, but why have Porsche reverted to the amber side indicator lights? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

Don

Sorry I meant the lens covers. I thought they were clear now but the photo on ebay shows they are amber.

My 01 C2 Cab has cinnamon brown full leather which I find to be some what of a problem for interior mods. I purchased the car used so it wasn't me who ordered it. The problem is that cinnamon brown is a special color and with the full leather option everything is this color (except the steering wheel for some reason). I recently investigated getting the Bird console expansion however since cinnamon brown isn't a standard color they can't do much without a leather sample (very difficult to pry from the hands of the Porsche dealer). I guess if I started to replace bits with carbon I could work out the interior the way I wanted it.

Couple of questions and a thought back-n-black. I assume your ext color is black. What color is your console? You might consider a black armrest from Bird. He stocks them in leather. It would match the wheel and the black buttons. Then if you add CF at least the combo of black and cinnamon would look good. You could also get the black ash-tray delete if you have colored console. That would bring some contrast as well. I think Eric (the plug guy) might be able to paint the ash-tray delete a body color. I'm having him paint my ashtray delete Arctic Silver to match my console. I think black CF trim on the dash would be a great contrast. Good luck

Don, my console is cinnamon brown, all the leather and plastic parts(everything is except the steering wheel). This is the problem with the Bird modification, the storage console lid is cinnamon brown, which I think would look odd with the black Bird collar. True if I replaced the entire center console with CF then I might be getting some where. However I'd probalby couuld to get a black leather storage console lid which would work.

Probably time to snap some pictures and play with them in Photoshop to see what it might look like.

Thumbs down

Teal will be the Zanzibar of 2003. Or maybe the Vesuvio. If you love it, I hope you love it a lot. 'Cause it's gonna be in your driveway for a looonng time.

IMHO, of course...

Neither would be my first choice, but the dark teal and cinnamon leather independently seem like reasonable colors. They do not seem to work together very well.

Perhaps the dark wood as the third color is throwing it off, but the color scheme as a whole does not seem quite right to my eye.

So I guess my bid would be about a VW below the reserve.
