Took a trip up to Mt. Evans... some road rage NO 56K
This has been the first weekend in a couple months that I have had very little going on. So we decided to take a trip up to the mountains to see the leaves change. This is our first summer/fall in Denver so we are trying to get the whole experience in. The Yellow Aspen Leaves really complimented my SY C2. We had a nice lunch at the top of Mt. Evans and headed home. On the way home some dick head on the I70 in a new Ford F350 decided he was going to see how close he could kiss my bumper. He sat there for 10 min no where to go as it was a packed interstate. the car ahead of me was 10 car lengths and had a string of cars in front of him. We were in the fast lane and cars along the right side. Just moving with the flow of traffic. Anyway he thought it would be funny to pass me using the shoulder. I tried to speed up to escape the flying rocks but the car in front of me prohibited going any further. So he dusted about 5 cars before making his move back into traffic. No harm done to the car even though I could hear the rocks he kicked up. Why are people such dicks. I was so pissed. When I got home and ispected the car I was glad to see no damage so the moment did not ruin a good day.

Sandoval - Great pics! You are right about the Aspen leaves and the SY color. Too bad about the ride home. What an A$$hole! I'm glad no one was hurt and that the P-car was undamaged.

Sandoval,
My friend raceron and I are always amused but always weary of the idiots that we encounter heading to or comming back from track weekends. Last weekend from Mosport we encountered 3 or was that 4 individuals who either cannot drive, endanger others on the road, or are just overly agressive. Our moto is " let the ***..le go". I know that it can be a difficult thing to do at times, specially when you are minding your own business and they invade that personal space around your car. I count to 10 then just let the suker go.

( Of course there was that time heading back from Toronto with my wife and I....)

Great shots!!! I don't know what it is about people in pickup trucks and raised SUVs that makes them think they need be the fastest people on highway. It really pisses me off. Lets get a truck that weighs a couple of tons, handles like crap, has no brakes at speed, a high center of gravity and try to keep up or pass people in purpose built sports cars. What is the point? I'm not going to try to follow you through the Rubicon so why try to keep up with me on the 101?

Great Pics!! October is a great month in your area. Sorry about the idiot in the pickup.
I'm going out to Denver at the end of the month to catch the Avalanche vs. Vancouver game on Saturday and the Broncos vs. Phili on Sunday. Denver is a great sports town and close to a lot of great outdoor activities.
