Default i got my GT3 RS-R

well I picked up my RSR clone the other night. All I can say is WOW!!!!

this thing is just amazing!!! in every way. I need to raise it up about .5 inches, but otherwise it's incredible.

The company that built the car is called http://www.theracersgroup.com . the are located at sears point in Cali.

car has Fikse wheels that were made (they are local for me) around the kit, and some basic motor work done to it (header, exhaust, intake, piggy back computer). full suspension ie: H&R coils, H&R sway bars bushings etc etc....

car also has upgraded headlights, taillights, carbon interior (fake so I have to replace it ) short shift, clutch, flywheel... so many things

couple pics

edited my words to make some people happy

Shouldnt that be a GT3 RS R? The normal GT3 RS that porsche makes is white blue or white red. They sell the real one in here in Mexico. Still you car looks mean as hell! Definetaly a complete race car look! Cool!

It would look much better in white with racing decals all over it. If it makes you happy that is all that matters. Enjoy your new toy!!!

you know i did say a clone, but should be more specific for you. it is an rsr (i am still learning the specifics on these cars) body kit. the racers group built the car so its done the right way. i personally would love it white
but a whole respray is spendy. the car has 30k miles and i am the 3rd owner.

I do know it's kind of rude to ask (and my mother would slap me around for that) but.....price-wise how does TRG compares to say RUF ???

RUF is more expensive...noticably more expensive.

Doesn't look like any GT3 RS I've seen. And I have seen a bunch of them. I've even seen a genuine one in pure white without the red or blue livery. I didn't know you could get a sunroof on even the regular dime a dozen RS.

please read what I said.... sorry i am learning the cars. some people make it feel like I am on an import car forum

sorry i put in the wrong height adjustment the first time. the car is going up about 1/2 inch or so. the front rubs a little to much on the radiators... and it is so hard to get into driveways and speedbumps (if I can go over them haha) . So this will just make it easier for that. Also the car hits the bump stops... Hoping to get out to a track day this coming week.

There is a vibration around 65mph.. and goes away around 85 right now.. but the front tires need to be replaced (yoko's right now) and the rear got replaced the day I picked it up ( Toyo T1R's) so I ordered a new front pair so they are matched.

Thank you everyone for your input. This is my first Porsche, but I have built 12 VW's and won alot of shows. I have been racing with the local chapter of the Porsche Club and they are great people.

here is my old car

and from the magazine feature

Brucem don't take it too hard as many of the people on this board are not THAT knowledable either. You are right you do have a GT3RS 1st generation racer clone. Many have the mispreception that you are talking about the street GT3 of 2004-2005. There was a street RS version which looks the same as the GT3, but it had painted wheels (red or blue) and had modifications to the car to make it lighter and faster. It was only available in Europe. The RSR is a newer generation race car with the newer lights and fenders and some aerodynamic changes.

Quick Reply: i got my GT3 RS-R
