Brought the 996 to TKX for some loving. Oil change & LN Screw on filter adapter upgrade, gear oil change (likely first time ever!) and a new key programmed. I wanted to welcome the P car to the neighborhood!

First post, pics coming soon as it rained overnight and it needs a good wash anyway.
Just picked up a 2003 C4S black/black. Has PSE, aftermarket wheels, and a lot of miles (82k!) but is in overall good shape for my first 911. Been a BMW guy as long as I can remember but after my experiences with their N63 TTV8 engine, I just couldn't give them any more money so I do the dad-SUV thing for DD and picked this up for Fridays/weekends and occasional track events. Will be searching out the upgrades threads for some stuff I can learn to do myself and keep this thing maintained and running for as long as it'll go. By the time I wear it out, I'm sure 991's will be a tad more affordable... I never was/am a huge fan of the 997s, PDK and other overall updates being considered. The 996 just always has had that "Look" to me, and never understood why it was looked down upon. Considered going Turbo given my love for the GT1, but, this is more my capability at this point. I can't imagine what this car could do with another 100+HP on tap.
Good to be part of the club and looking forward to learning a lot about our fantastic cars!
