Here in New Jersey
This is my first Porsche and I'm loving it. I have been and still am a BMW fan having owned over ten since the early 1980's..When it was time for a new car, BMW did not have anything that interested me so I stopped at the Porsche dealer and after the test drive that was it... Then I found Rennlist to learn more about Porsche's. That was a bad bad thing. While I did learn about the car and how to do my own work on it, I also found out all the different mods owners have done and I was hooked. So sitting in my garage right now are a B&M SSK, PSE(yes I will install the switch) new Silver Crest, H&R springs along with a few other smaller pending modifications, ie dash mounted spoiler switch, etc. Then someone posted a thread on garage lifts...so I went out and measured my garage and I can fit one in fairly easily....so when does it end???? My son says it will not end until I trade in the car and I think he may be right.....
I am 49, widower, with two sons, 18 and 20. I have been in Law Enforcement for 25+ years and will retire February 1. While that will give me time to install my mods....I'll need to figure out a way to pay for the new ones....
I agree that this is a great bunch of people here on the Rennlist forums and it is interesting to see the different points of views people have. Wishing everone the best for your families and rides in 2005...
See pictures below....I couldn't figure out how to do it so Apex did it for me....lol

Hi,
Am new to Rennlist, and bought my first P-car last October. Lottie is an 00 996 C4 Cab in Zenith Blue. I'm 25 from the UK but just moved to Cincinnati, and am not married (yet!). I (sometimes) work in Marketing.

I'm a 52 year old physician pathologist with a first wife, 3 incredible kids (one a 12 year old Porsche junkie), and 4 Porsches in the stable listed below, currently suffering through another winter in Michigan. Yes, I have this Porsche disease bad and hope there is no cure!

Some of my other fun cars were:

Great thread!
I work in health care and I have a very support wife who lets me indulge in my Porsches. My almost 3 year old sun is of course in love with the marque and yells our Porrrsche when ever he sees one. I've met several owners through him. My first Porsche is now one year old (40th Anniversary) and my second is 27 years old but new to me since Sept 2004. The 40th no longer sees any track time as it has been replaced in this aspect by the SC. They're both great cars in their own way and I'm lucky to have them both.
The best rear end ever designed.
My favorite turn. See ya later!
