Anybody have experience with Rennsport in Elmsford, NY (Westchester Co.). Thinking about using them for maintenance, tires, etc.

Why not use Pepe, or New Country for maintenance? Tires and other aftermarket
mods are another story, but I tend to have all maintenance done by authorized dealers.

I agree, I've never heard anything bad about rennsport. I use RPM for my mods and my dealer-silver star for the rest.

I think you mean Rennwerke. I have used them. They are good.

I have nothing but GREAT things to say about Pepe Porsche in White Plains. I live 50 miles from them and I still take my car there.

Yes, there is, but not in Elmsford, NY. Its Rennwerke there. FWIW, I work a mile up the road from them in Hawthorne and have been a happy customer for a while.

Rennsport is in Bedford Hills. A guy named Ed is very good there-- he installed my X74 suspension and short shifter. Rennwerke is in Elmsford. I've never used them, but, as the responses indocate, they have a good reputation. I think the head honcho there is named "Cheech."

I find Pepe to be good quality work but overpriced, but there aren't too many other options that are much cheaper and/or worth the drive. I bought my car at Prestige Porsche, but have not bothered to get it serviced there because it's too invonveniently located for me. (Pepe is on the way to NYC, which is perfect for me).

I was hearing some negative things about Rennsport for a couple of years. But there is a new guy there now and recently feedback from guys in the local PCA chapter has been positive. I've never used them myself though.
