Hey folks, after some vendor delay and Fedex problems I finally received product updates for the kits. So all the tube kits now include a tough supporting bracket; I also received production parts for a UAOS version of the oil filler kit.

I will update here when I have photos to share; but FYI the website has been updated with some details and pricing. I had to slightly increase the kit price to account for the extra parts but I kept the increase very minimal just to cover costs. The media (photos/video) and fitment guide PDF is out of date; and I will be updating all this in the next few days.

With the new bracket included I will be extending the warranty period coverage on the products; as its definitely added some solid extra support and robustness all around.

I will post photos of the new UAOS version very soon and will also be updating the website for ordering the UAOS version. It will be marginally more expensive than the regular kit; again I will minimize price increases just to cover my extra costs.

Thanks!

Here some photos of the UAOS version of the tube kit; its now available to order on the website. I don't have a large stock on hand for this version however at the moment; lead times for more are quite short at around 10-12 days so not too bad.

The install guide has been updated with the new bracket and the extended warranty. All at www.9ii.pro, all kits include the new mounting bracket

Thanks folks!

I am very interested in this replacement. My tube has not broken, but it is obvious how weak it is. One question, I do not have the UAOS installed...yet. I do not want to prevent installation of this in the future, so what is the downside of installing that version now? Your site states that you should not install it if you DON'T have the UAOS. It appears you could either plug the port with the barb fitting or add a cap over the barb. Thoughts?

There is an off the shelf plug available that would fit the port in the tube; the tube thread is an M8 straight thread. The barbed fitting screws in place and seals via an O-ring.

I worded the website text to avoid confusion for any customers who aren't familiar with what the UAOS is.

I can't think of any downside to ordering the UAOS version now and plugging the port; access to the plug might be difficult due to its location. It might actually be easier to install the tubing to the port and plug the end of the tubing instead; maybe Charles could comment on that idea?

I'll look into the threaded plug and perhaps order some to test out in the meantime.

I have the UAOS installed on my 99 C4 . If anyone is thinking about this UAOS version oil filler neck because they will add the UAOS in the future I would install the neck with 2 ' of hose attached to the hose barb . Feed the hose through the drivers side intake manifold runners and plug it with a golf tee or similar . Then zip tie the hose out of the way . That way you will be ready for the future install of the UAOS . You are talking very tight quarters so install it right the first time . Just my opinion .

Great idea! I don't have the UAOS kit on my vehicle so can someone comment on what size/type of hose it uses? I can add a link to my website for folks who want to pre-install the UAOS version of my kit prior to them purchasing/installing the UAOS itself

The hose I use is a Gates Safety Stripe 27004 ,( 3/8) costs ~ $3 a foot ....availible at just about any Auto Parts Store...

The clamps I recommend is a 5/8 constant tension spring clamp like this https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/pr...clamps-1040494 availible at Amazon, Tractor supply, Lowes in 2pk and 3pk......I buy mine for UAOS by the 100's from ClipsandFasteners Inc..
