If only one mod, which one?
I'm looking to by myself a present (again): one mod for my 04 C-2 cab. It's already got 18s and premium bose sound, but that's all. I realize that this is a personal preference issue, but what is the ONE modification that you guys like/love and would add assuming that you could only add one (I don't want top spend more than a couple of grand).
I'm thinking side skirts.
Thanks.
Gary

This post could get outta control...but I'll play. PSE should be the first mod. But, there are many mods that you can do yourself that are inexpensive (search the forum). I just did PSE after doing skirts, GT3 spoiler, trim extras, misc hacks, etc., etc., and realized why rennlisters keep saying PSE. I can't belieive I didn't do it sooner. Get one, and you will never listen to the radio again!

I saw from your note that your 911 is a weekend car (like mine). Now it depends on how you drive it on the weekend. If you just go out cruising, then go for the PSE. However, if you like to go out and push it a little, go for the X74 suspension. It improves the handling of the car immensely. But if you are just cruising, the PSE sounds great. Whatever you do, squeeze in an additional $200 and get the B&M short shifter. I think it is the best $200 you can spend on the car.

DaveMo: WHat is the difference between RoW M030 and X-74? Are they the same thing just called 2 different names?
My vote is PSE first and foremost followed by suspension upgrade.

The X74 is a little stiffer than the M030. The general consensus is that it falls in between the M030 and the (adjustable) PSS9's. In addition, the M030 is listed as lowering 20MM front/10MM rear; the X74 is 40/30.
