With that size of a bypass, you essentially bypassed the whole muffler.
No shade meant, I took my mufflers off completely, so I get it, but with that much bypass the customer might as well just do these:

I dunno, I think there is still going to be a good amount of air making its way to the muffler. Fluids want to move in a straight line rather than suddenly turn a bend because they have momentum.

Also, the customer likes some noise! Maybe this wouldn’t work for you?

Again no shade meant, if the internal bypass holes are smaller than the external pipe size then yeah, I get it.

I agree with Mike Murphy, I have gone thru using Fabspeed bypass pipe and they were very loud and droned on highway also loss of torque from the engine, next tried the 3 baffles in the bypass pipe and it eliminated the drone and loudness was better, just hated the loss of torque, finally did the Fister mod with 1 3/4 pipe with same size hole and very happy with this set up, no drone and torque feels great and loudness is just right to me. i need to dig out those Fabspeed bypass pipes with the baffles and sell them.
