Default Center console delete custom gauge pod

This may be a treat for those with gt3s, those who deleted center console and need a spot for custom gauge, or those who want to delete console but the need of custom gauge was holding them back.

Design inspiration was taken from Chrono design in modern 911s but still being able to fit into small trim in front of the shifter. Any gauge with standard diameter of 52mm will fit (like AEM).

Any suggestions, thoughts, useful alteration you guys would like to see?

This is cool! I like this. Any possibility of doing a variation of this to put on the top of the dash or even the A pillar for those of us that want a chronograph clock but keep the centre stack?

That's a good location for an add on module. Maybe an oil temp gauge...

I've done the console delete, and long term I would like an oil temp gauge. If you are ready to sell, let me know, maybe I'll buy one anyway for the day when I get around to making an oil temp gauge.

You've never seen gauges on the A pillar? It a fairly common mod.

You could put a scantily clad picture of your significant other in there. Maybe even a Tamagachi. Turn it into a cup for storing pistachios? The possibilities are endless.

Finally an update, its been a busy first half of the year and this being a hobby takes lowest priority.
I have changed the design of the back side on the pod to accommodate more variety of 52mm gauges (I didn't realize earlier that some gages still have a physical bulb socket that requires much more available depth.) Updated design actually looks better anyway.

I will be adding this to ebay and Etsy in coming days.

I'd buy one just cause... maybe slap a Heuer race timer in there.

Ad is up on Etsy. I have added 10% off any of the 3 items I have so far in the store for rennlist members, use this link https://www.etsy.com/shop/UsefulPrin...pon=RENNLIST10 or type RENNLIST10 during checkout. Coupon good till June 16th.

Thanks all, for the interest and suggestions! I'm working on few more items in the future, also shifting some of my attention to G-body 911, since that my new project on hand.

Nice. I don’t see it on Etsy yet. Anyway, how is it made?
