New 996 owner
Hi, I just picked up this 996 yesterday from Porsche of Beaverton. It's a 11/98 build. 62k miles, Porsche just did a Major service, and also replaced the hood and trunk struts, and I hlgot an IOU for 2 new keys. Paid 30k. No IMS or clutch replacement, so those will be done in the next year. This car is very base. No option on the build sheet. As far as I can tell the only mod is moving the spoiler control to the dash. So far I'm loving it!

The interior is Black, although some of the plastic has a sparkle to it. Most of it looks as new. But the prior owner purchased it in the spring of this year, and he lived on a "farm" and drove it over 15k miles in that short time, and apparently there was hay inside the car, I didn't see it, but my wife who was in Portland, I live about 3 hours away, saw the dirty inside. I'd love to know the story of Mr. Farmer, if he's on here.
