My '99. Your metal impact strip is slightly different too.

The crash bar looks the same as my 2000. It looks like someone hacked up the rad intake boots. I would replace them as i doubt that is helping the airflow.

I thought so too but looking closer, his is 5"-6" shorter on each outboard end. Maybe the PO trimmed them for the same reason as the air duct trimming?...

Great choices bud!

I remember the car having an aftermarket bumper on it previously, me guesses at least the crash bar hackery was to allow bumper fit.

When the Porsche Badge comes up during activation, it makes it all worth the price! Also I bought a realy nice 1/16" thich rubber mat for the storage panel. It has a sticky backing. Perfect to keep the phone / things from sliding around.

Werks Reunion Amelia Island didn't disappoint and neither did Sammy. 1500 miles at 55 mph and didn't miss a beat.

3/98 Glacier White update:

Quicksilver exhaust Installed (not many have these mufflers and while I haven't heard them on this car, they sound great on youtube clips)
Ohlins Road and Track coilovers installed
I really need to have the header coated. That just doesn't match the beauty of rest of the car
FVD x51 oil pan installed
UAOS installed
OIl Change: Liqui Molly 5/40
997 shifter installed (not 997 short and not 997 gt3)
new factory cables going in tomorrow
alighnemt on Monday
My sons 17th is Wed. This is his birthday gift. Not his daily but his weekend car and intro to motorsport car. Can't think of a better way to get him hooked on Porsche and 911 then his own 996 to rip around in.
No way I could let him motorsport the 2001 C4 besides this car is probably 2800 lbs or lighter. Can't wait to drive / see it. I hear the stance is spot on to my visual requests.
New sport oval tips coming
