Do you run the GT3 hubs or an adapter ?

Got it. I have heard but don’t know for a fact the 996GT3 calipers can’t be made to work on the C2 hub due to the caliper bolt spacing and that’s why the big caliper upgrade for a factory part uses the differently spaced 997.2 GT3 caliper if you are not switching to the 6GT3 hub.

Are you sure about that? I have 6GT3 uprights and 7.2Turbo calipers. Everything is fine.
The 6GT3 upright has the rotor 2mm closer to the car centerline so you need to use 6GT2 rotors or use a 2mm spacer between the hub and the rotor hat.

other calipers work on 6-3 uprights but i dont think 6-3 calipers work on other uprights. Although maybe thats just a rotor issue???

I found the suspension on the cab car extremely compliant and comfortable, even at ~86k miles. Having said that, I would sometime toss the car into a turn and it happily did what I asked. I think AWD had a lot to do with that and it's been a while since I drove a C4S, which always felt stupid planted to me. I didn't find the OEM ride to take away from carving turns but you didn't "feel it" as much. Everything was much more muted, which is why I think you could do some big miles in it and not be tired in the slightest. I think the muted feel of the car is nicely offset by the top down experience. Stock exhaust sounds good but something a tad louder would be a hoot! By comparison, my car was on Ohlins R&T with wider summer tires and was RWD. It felt more "alive", if you will. I very much enjoy the ride quality I get from the set-up and works wonderfully on good roads but you do feel most bumps and imperfections. Ride is firm but not jarring at all. I suppose this adds to the "alive" feeling. I imagine that's what a stock GT3 might ride like. I found the steering on my car to be slightly lighter, even though I was running a Momo Mod07 steering wheel.
Both cars were manual and had stock motors as far as any performance mods go. All I can say is that there was definitely something going on with the X51 add on and I felt like besides the obvious hardware differences, the ECU has more to do with it than discussed. The cab had no issues getting up to speed but it was less eventful. I almost felt like it masked the speed more and got to it in a smoother manner. Getting back into my car, the throttle response felt much more immediate and sharper. That's probably the first thing I noticed. The engine seemed to have more urgency in getting up the revs. You can definitely feel when VarioCam does its crossover. It's much more noticeable in feel and sound. It was not very noticeable in the cab and just felt smoother. I didn't find neither better than the other - they just provided a different experience. With all that taken into account, I'm super happy with the level of power I get from the X51 motor and have very little desire for more. That's what I recall so far of the top of my head....
