@googone20 Your car, to me, is very close to perfect - drop it and get rid of that fender gap and it will be there.
I don't know what it is about yellow and the aerokit. I am generally NOT a fan of yellow cars but with the 996/aero combination, it's giving me a real exotic car vibe, like - this thing is special - that is very rare, up there with @85eurocarrera and his targa aerokit. The lip and smoked corner markers are perfect compliments I think are playing bigger roles than I may have thought they would.
I really like your car, well executed mods and looks to be very well cared after.

Wow, really means a lot coming from you brother. I know you contribute a lot here and you have spent a lot of time developing your car for your purposes. 😉👍🏻 I have read so many of your posts and insights over the last several months. I am trying to really wrap my head around how I want my suspension to be setup long term. I do not track my car like a lot of you do, so I want something aggressive but suited for the street also.
I have a brand new set of custom built Feal Coilovers on the bench waiting to go on. I also have a set of fully rebuilt Fikse Profile 5S’s going on. 18x9 and 18x11 with low offsets that sit perfectly flush. After that I just want to spend some time dialing in the suspension and brakes a little more to my overall liking. Both are very good, but I can tell some areas that need improvements. I would also like to possibly swap my rear bumper to the center exit Cup car bumper with a 997 GT3 center box with muffler bi-pass. This sound seems to be exactly what I want for my car. Lots of this will happen over the winter. I can’t wait to have the stance and wheel and tire combo on. I feel like that is really going to transform the car for me.
The cup bumper is a great idea and I think you’ve got some good parts that will improve the car waiting in the wings.
One word of advice - don’t sell the LW wheels, I did (needed the $$$, paid for my data system) and kick myself quite frequently, when I see your pic above as a for instance. The LW’s looks so good on them, I’d suggest if you can keeping them around - sometimes nice to wear a different pair of shoes just because and the LWs are a really great 2nd set of shoes.
That is a great point. I was planning to sell them to recoup some of the mods cash. With the recent sale of that $85k Speed Yellow Aero 996 on Bring a Trailer, I am not going to get rid of anything now. Hold onto all the stock parts because apparently these cars are worth practically GT3 money now. Made me think about selling mine and looking for a 997 GT3 when the market takes a dump here soon.
I forgot I also have a set of Recaro SPG’s and slider mounts going in. I can’t wait to get some time to swap all the goodies into this car. I
know the car is going to feel so much more dialed in and focussed as I make adjustments to it. Just need to take it slow so that I don’t go too far and regret something.
Est I’m a wheel ***** and I thought I was done after 6 sets but the look of your wheels on your car without a wing is amazing
now I’m researching my 7th set damn
