Malibu Mountains.

@168glhs1986 you're tempting me to try the stock tail and see how I feel about it.

Buying the RTS has enabled me to drive the car more! off to the weekend ride. Previous treks with bike were in the Cayenne.

Note: the bike is period correct... and just as dirty as the car, but they still both go like mad!

Thanks to kincedn9 and dharn55.

Default Momo heritage 6 mounted, quick pic

Looks to me like they (forgestar?) got the offsets perfect. They bronze definitely brings the color out in my meridian metallic paint. If there is any. Haha. Porsche love their platinum / middle of the spectrum tints. I had assumed meridian was synonymous with middle, but it's instead more akin to apogee, or something that is at it's peak. Anyway, in happy with how they turned out. I'm going to install the Momo decals. Should I put them on and then ceramic coat the wheels, or ceramic coat first? Thanks!

Classiche! At the time when I ordered these through modbargains, I didn't tell them how to do the offsets, only that I had spacers on the stock wheels, 15mm rear and 7mm front. These look a little more flush. I hope they put the offset in the rim somewhere. Anyway, I'm really pleased, they look better than my previous silver and black twists, to me anyway. Maybe I should get a dark bronze Carrera decal now. Black is still playing to me. What a sexy car. I love me some narrow body.

That's an awesome solution for a cab! Love it! Is that an OEM rack or aftermarket? I mount my road bike on my coupe with Sea Sucker all the time and love the amount of blank stares along with thumbs up that I get. Looks like a Lemond?

Yep. '06 Lemond Zurich. Super comfortable geometry. Smooth. 1/2 carbon 1/2 steel frame. 130 miles is the furthest I've ridden on it in a day. The guys I ride with all have much newer tech, but we are all so fat that a pound here or there doesn't matter. Someday I'll get a new disc/gravel drop handle bike. The rack is from Porsche. Roof Transport System. Discontinued some time ago. They come up from time to time on E-bay or craigslist. I looked at trailer hitch racks, but can't get comfortable hanging a bike way off the back. The car has features designed in to attached the mounting brackets. The rack screws to the brackets. It's quite secure. The only 2 problems are that the top cannot change positions when the rack is on and the bar spacing is too short to hold the rack for our Davinci tandem. It needs to stay on the GTI. No complaints.

The Sea Suckers are amazing. If I had a coupe, I would use them.

That's fantastic! Seems like you're in the Bay Area...I've done some fantastic road and gravel rides out there years back. Pretty jelly to have that in your back yard. Have done Mt. Tam on road and the off-road approach. Driving those roads is pretty fun too. Rented a 991.1 on Turo and had a day.

Did you decide to go with the Ohlins for the 4S? Height looks good

Beautiful day in the foothills. Squaw/Juniper pass to Idaho Springs, US 40 to Georgetown, Guanella pass back home.

Always the best angle.

A bit more lapis, of a sort.

Back at base camp.
