Small world Bill. Glad you got a great deal. Even back then I thought it was a slamming good deal on an aero. Today, you should be able to see a lot more than you paid. But I remember thinking the Mk1 Aero was about the sharpest of all 996. I like the Mk2 GT3, but the Mk1 Aero just looks right. Hope you continue to enjoy that car for many years to come.
Hilarious. I ordered a Lunar Rock TRD Pro 4runner a month and a half ago. Should arrive in the next few weeks at some point. Trading in my GX460 for it.

Just my daily, 2015 VW Touareg TDI Lux with some goodies. Love that VW Vanagon… passed up a semi clean Synchro like a dumbass back in 2012.
And for the reason we’re all here, my 996.2 with GT Aero and some other upgrades.
The Touareg/Cayenne TDI's are high on my list, nearly bought a Cayenne Diesel last year. Great looking MK2 car with the Aero! It looks fantastic in grey!

Prices seem to keep going up on clean examples and the Porsche models are trimmed nicely. There’s a dude on the Touareg forums that’s working to build a system that removes the terrible HPFP and also upgrade the the turbo internals so you don’t have to repipe the intercoolers.
