Most dealers are laying people off because there is no work. We are hiring some of these highly qualified techs during this crisis to help them provide for their families.
We are trying to do our part to keep working and doing our best to keep people employed. We have hired 2 highly experienced Porsche factory trained techs during this time of uncertainty. A lot of people are getting laid off right now and that includes Porsche technicians that have been working for many years at the dealer. We are doing our best to help keep these amazing friends employed so that they can continue providing for their families.
During this time we are setting up new appointments for repairs for these guys. If anyone has a Porsche that has been in need of some maintenance or repair, please give me a call at (310) 533-8900 to set up an appointment. You get a chance to get your Porsche serviced and repaired by a Gold certified master tech from Porsche at independent repair shop labor rates.
It’s time we work together to help do our part in keeping people lives moving. We need to come up with solutions to these problems and not wait around in these uncertain times. I hope everyone is able to find something productive to do and is not just dwelling on the fact that there is no end in sight.
I hope that as many Rennlist forum members as possible can somehow take advantage of the situation. If anyone in the Southbay area finds themselves in a dire situation, please feel free to reach out to me and we will see how we can all get through this together. Whatever resources we have, we are trying to allocate them to help everyone get through this.
Thanks and be safe,
Paisley

I'm so sorry to hear about that and the loss of another shop. That is just terrible. Be safe and good luck.
