Default Driving shoes

Does anyone wear driving shoes?
What do you buy and wear do you get them?
I was looking at, and I am going to spell this wrong Herkimer shoes which are beautiful but I’m a size 13 and apparently they do carry them.
I don’t know much about them.
Can you tell me what are the best?
Those Steve McQueen shoes are the bomb but I couldn’t find my size.
Looking for suggestion and maybe some pictures.

No. With size 13 narrow feet, Adidas Sambas are where it's at. I had a couple pairs of Pilotis because I thought they were cool and they were uncomfortable as hell.

Brian! For the love of all peace, driving shoes? Please tell us you don't wear a Porsche racing suit around town!

Yes, I typically wear shoes when I drive. Does that qualify?

Only at the track. And turned my fastest lap at summit point in a thick pair of asics running shoes, so who knows.

I wear my fancy New Balance shoes. I got them at Dick's Sporting Goods on sale. I took a marker and blurred out the NB to look like a P (for Porsche). Now everybody thinks I have fancy Porsche shoes

Suncoast Porsche had a merchandise tent at the track for the Rolex 24 and I got this and a hat (so did my wife). Adds 25 HP!

I generally just wear the black stiletto heels I originally purchased for driving the Boxster. The aluminum track mats help prevent the heels gouging the carpet.

Serious question: are you the ghost of John Ireland?

I have driven mine in flip flops. Hurts like hell when they slip off the clutch pedal and it grades your ankle like a block of cheese!

I do have a pair of shoes that I enjoy wearing while driving and I think they're as old as my '99 996. They were called Adidas Adi Racer.

My favorite shoes are a pair of worn out Converse sneakers...the little toe on my right foot has worn a hole in the canvas.

You can get Piloti in 13. I tried some on in a store once and they pinched my feet so wide is another story. I never ended up buying any and I just use normal shoes like (some) of these guys.
