Default Blend Door Repair today, lot's of pics detail

My indy fixed my blend door losing it's foam problem, here's a bunch of pics.

How did you take the blend door off? I thought you had dremmel out the hinge?

This is on my list of things to do while I’m not working during December.
I have everything I need except time...and a little motivation.

Yes, you have to Dremel it out on top.
You can see it has been Dremeled in the 8th picture.
The 4th picture is pre-Dremeled.

Same here. Its been warm as well for December but I just don't drive it in the cold enough to get motivated. It doesn't really look like that bad of a repair from the top.

You don't have access to the second blend door from the top, I believe. There are 2.

Thank you for posting. I thought a rodent got into the HVAC and chewed up the foam that annoyingly shoots out.

Correct, but if you fix this one it totally fixes the heat/cold problem.

My indy is a good friend, so he gives me a super good rate! If you had to pay a shop it would be about 6 hours of labor.
