Granted, it's not the most common viewing angle for these cars, but honestly anybody who says the 996.1 headlights are ugly needs to rethink. The whole car looks so fluid and harmonious from this angle. I think if you say this is ugly, you have to go all the way and say cars like the Carrera GT and 918 are ugly too, since they're quite similar. Taken in the garages at Mid-Ohio this weekend:
Same here, I also did overpay for that silver hood-crest (couldn't resist) to match all other Porsche crests I had on my car (steering wheel & wheel center caps). Btw OP's car looks great, the paint looks brand new, good job keeping it super clean and shiny.. Cheers,

Thanks! Tube lighting has a way of making any car look shiny since you get some nice crisp highlights. I'll cheat any way I can!! In reality the car is probably like an 8/10 up close.
Did you do the amberectomy or was it already done when you bought it?
It still has the amber reflector bits in the headlights, they just don't show up much if you're viewing from ~waist level or higher. Yet another reason this is a good angle
